Barr Middle School is Grand Island Public School’s largest middle school. The original building is a split three level building, which has had several previous additions. CMBA’s challenge was to provide additional classroom space, new and expanded spaces for music, athletics, and exploratory classes, enlarge the cafeteria, modernize building systems, and improve building security and wayfinding – all without interrupting classes in the building.
