Enhancing OB care accessibility
The goal for this project was to relocate the Obstetrics Unit to the main level, ensuring improved patient care with close proximity to the surgical center and a direct connection to the main hospital entry for enhanced wayfinding and security.
CMBA was selected to relocate the Obstetrics Unit to the hospital's main level with adjacency to the existing surgical center to improve patient care. A direct connection to the hospital's main entry to aid in wayfinding, maintain close security of babies and provide a non-clinical atmosphere in a functional hospital setting was of particular importance. The resulting facility heightens the aesthetic of the entrance corner to the hospital and connects patient space directly to the existing gardens.
