The MMCRU renovation project started with a master plan. We assessed their facilities in great detail with a sharp focus on current conditions, capacity and growing curriculum needs. During this process, we held focus groups with their staff and students to identify and understand their needs and perspectives. The community was then engaged and surveyed to build consensus and prioritize the identified needs that would create the most impact for their students. It was concluded that the most viable, long-term solution for the district would include three phases: Phase I brought a CTE addition in 2018; Phase II included the addition of a new elementary school and renovations to the high school; Phase III brings the addition of a daycare. We expect the community daycare to be a fantastic benefit to the residents and local employees.
