Community Hospital – McCook

We began our work with the Community Hospital in McCook, Nebraska by establishing a 10-year vision and comprehensive master plan. Market demand was a primary driver during this process while the need to accommodate expected growth inspired great levels of flexibility. To clearly understand the needs of McCook Community Hospital renovation project, we worked on an individual basis with each department to set goals, priorities, and target outcomes. It was also at this time that we surveyed and met with leadership, staff, and providers to understand their department-specific needs. Our initial areas of focus for this were clinic space, emergency department, injection infusion department, kitchen/dietary, placement of mobile units, deliveries and parking. This project is a prime example of what can happen when you pair hard work and creativity with a clear vision of success!
