PROJECT GOALS
Designing for efficient healthcare in Sioux Center
The goal was to develop a new, efficient hospital facility on a new site to replace the aging campus and improve operational effectiveness.
Accessible design
Bright accent windows
Modern imaging department
Biophilic design elements
Natural light infusion
CMBA evaluated options with the hospital and construction manager. It became apparent to all that expanding the aging campus (as outlined in the initial master plan) and its inherent inefficiencies was not a sound decision from a cost or operational standpoint. The hospital acquired land recommended by CMBA and completed its critical access replacement hospital.
