Kimball Health

With an old facility that was operating outside its lifespan, its survivability was coming into question. Our proposition was a relocation of the hospital, allowing Kimball Health Services to house all their services under one roof. In addition to saving them on expenses, this would make it possible to implement an efficient design. With this plan Kimball Health Services is enabled to meet their current healthcare needs and fully prepared for their projected increase in demand. The replacement hospital will include outpatient clinics and rehabilitation therapies, surgery and central sterile, emergency services with ambulance bay and helipad, radiology, inpatient treatment services laboratory, and finance and administrative offices in a 61,219 SF footprint on one city block. The project also allows for needed additional service options, such as mammography, cardiac rehab, additional specialty clinics, chemotherapy infusions and expanded surgical options. This project will significantly improve safety, privacy, and comfort for patients – while giving Kimball Health Services the ability to improve their delivery of high-quality healthcare to the area!
