Enhancing collaborative learning spaces
The goal was to offer versatile environments for a variety of educational activities, fostering collaboration and innovation among students.
The goal was to deliver a flexible learning environment for Graettinger-Terril that could support a range of methodologies, study, collaboration and activities. The scope of this project includes updated labs, career tech classrooms, a large commons area, a competitive gym and much more! The commons area acts as the main path of circulation, leading people through the school to the gymnasium while providing areas for group gatherings.
The new classrooms now extend into the commons space by means of a large garage door. This allows the classrooms to feel less isolated when needed, while supporting a variety of large and small group learning opportunities. This addition to Graettinger-Terril High School was completed in 2020 and is now giving these high school students exciting new ways to learn and grow!
