The Arena

The vision for this project was to retrofit an existing retail space to create a dynamic sports venue for basketball, volleyball, dance, wrestling, and fitness.  The completed facility now features a total of five courts, a dance studio, batting cages, wrestling room, and weight/fitness room! The athletics components are supported by administrative offices, a training room, locker rooms, a media room, two concessions areas, and two seating areas.  The primary function of the building is to host youth sports programs for the Sioux City metro area, and to host regional youth sports tournaments for all of the sports programming offered at the facility. The space was designed to be flexible enough to also support events such as sporting exhibitions, dance recitals, and much more!!
