The challenge was to modify a century old auditorium to meet today’s technology and ADA regulations and still maintain the rich, ornate interior. Stakeholders desired a signature statement about the history of the building, so finishes throughout were replaced including windows, lighting, carpeting, and seating, while rich hues of cardinal, gold, and blue were used throughout to highlight the historic plaster work.
