Creating a State-of-the-Art Business School that Inspires Innovation
The goal was to design a modern business school that supports program growth and enhances the student experience with advanced learning environments.
A new School of Business is planned for the Morningside University campus to support a growing program and new academic offerings. With nearly 300 students and plans to add three new majors, the existing Lincoln Center is undersized and approaching 50 years of use. The new 50,595 SF building will create a state-of-the-art learning environment with advanced classrooms, collaborative workspaces and cutting-edge technology to support students and the broader business community. The design provides direct student support and enhances the overall student experience through spaces that encourage creativity and real-world connections. The building will be located between the Science Center and Learning Center to bring business students closer to other academic buildings. The Lincoln Center will remain and may become a new welcome center, which preserves campus continuity while supporting the growth of the business program.
