Alton Fire Station

Established in 1894, the Alton Fire Department covers a 44-square-mile area across four townships. The old facility was in desperate need of technological upgrades and additional space for training, trucks, equipment, and storage. Addressing poor ventilation and the risk of injury when donning gear were also critical. Our team collaborated with the Alton Fire Department to meet safety standards, improve response coverage, upgrade the fleet and apparatus, and expand spaces for equipment storage, maintenance, and training with four new apparatus bay spaces, a mezzanine for multi-story training, a kitchen for department events, and more.
