Zitlalic Parra Valencia Associate AIA
Architectural Designer
A Grand Island native, Zitlalic graduated with a Master of Architecture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her work is driven by a desire to have a meaningful impact through thoughtful design, and she thrives on the continual learning the field offers.
Active in both the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) and the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS), Zitlalic is committed to fostering inclusivity and education within the architectural community. A fun tidbit about her? Despite her rich experiences, Zitlalic still has yet to attend her first concert!
Outside of her professional life, Zitlalic is a sewing enthusiast and a foodie at heart. Initially torn between becoming a lawyer or an architect, she has found her true calling in architecture, where she uses design to enhance everyday experiences. Zitlalic is a valuable asset to CMBA and we’re proud to have her on the team!
